98% of Activision Blizzard shareholders voted to merge with Microsoft

In order for Microsoft to take over Activision Blizzard, the approval of company shareholders, including Bobby Kotick, is needed.
No problem with that - at a corporate meeting today, more than 98% of the security holders supported the merger.Word to Kotick:Today, the overwhelming majority of our shareholders voted in favor.
They agree that together with Microsoft we can become even more valuable to our players and provide even more opportunities for our employees and continue to become an inspiring example of a friendly, respectful and inclusive workplace.Recall that Wall Street analysts believe that the U.S.
Federal Trade Commission will not allow the purchase to happen because of antitrust laws.
But other experts say there's nothing to worry about. If everything works out, the deal will close by June 30, 2023.
