Devolver Digital teased Sega's greed on its social media, comparing pre-orders of Sonic Origins to Trek To Yomi

Yesterday we learned the release date of Sonic Origins, the new compilation from SEGA that brings back five classic blue hedgehog adventures for PC and consoles.
However, the announcement was marred by controversy over the greed of the Japanese publisher. In addition to the game being exclusively digital, the community didn't like the fact that both pre-orders and the various content that could be included in the game were scattered across different price points and edition options for the game.
Devolver Digital, one of the industry's best-known independent game publishers, took advantage of this to promote one of its games.Specifically, the publisher used Trek To Yomi, which comes out early next month.
In a message shared through the official Twitter account, a diagram of the samurai game, similar to the one for Sonic Origins, appeared, showing what content is included in the various editions.
\"Our marketing department has created a handy guide to pre-ordering Trek To Yomi.
Please use it to plan your purchase,\" reads the text accompanying the image. The Samurai adventure, set in 19th century Japan, will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox X Series X|S on May 5, though it will likely appear on Switch in the future.
Sonic Origins comes out on the same platforms, including Nintendo's hybrid console, though in that case we'll have to wait until June 23 to get our hands on it.
