Creative Assembly Studios has published a long-term development plan for Total War: Warhammer 3 until the end of 2022.
And at the same time confirmed that support for the game does not end: updates and expansions will be released in 2023.The nearest major update will be patch 1.2, which is scheduled for May.
It will fix a number of game bugs and make improvements to a number of game systems and artificial intelligence units.
In particular, the developers will redo the technology tree and from this patch will reset the leaderboard.In the second quarter, players will also receive the first free set of units Regiments of Renown: elite troops with improved characteristics and special abilities for each major race of the game.
In the third quarter, players will receive patch 1.3, a second set of Regiments of Renown and an expanded Assembly Kit toolset for custom modification creators.With the release of update 2.0, the game will begin beta testing Immortal Empires mode, which will combine maps and factions from all three Warhammer games, as long as these games are purchased.
