
An image posted by Kojima on Twitter shows what is presumably Kojima Production's new home and a PlayStation 5 development kit can be seen in the background.While it may be a remnant of Death Stranding, it appears to be plugged in, which means it is currently in development.This is potentially notable since it has been reported that Kojima is currently working on a game for the Xbox.The project, which allegedly uses Microsoft's cloud technology, was first reported last year, but work on it continues.There has been recent speculation that Kojima Productions could be the next studio to be acquired by Sony, following Sony's PlayStation Studios website update.Over the past year, the platformer has acquired Haven, Bluepoint Games, Housemarque, Nixxes Software and Firesprite.Kojima then posted an image on Twitter before saying that Kojima Productions plans to remain independent.Hideo Kojima founded Kojima Productions in 2005 under Konami control, where he worked for more than 30 years and created the Metal Gear series.After separating from Konami in 2015, he reformed Kojima Productions as an independent studio backed by PlayStation.In March, Kojima announced that the studio was moving after five years in the Tokyo office.
