Reports of a remake of The Last of Us appeared about a year ago: the game is allegedly being developed for PS5 by Naughty Dog, and PlayStation Studios Visual Arts is supporting the project. And while the game hasn't been officially announced yet, there's mounting evidence that things could soon changeSuch as, as noted on ResetEra, the LinkedIn profile of Corey Hong, who has been a QA tester at Naughty Dog since 2019, mentions that he was involved in \"QA testing and development support\" for an \"unannounced remake\"-which, given all the reports in recent months, can probably only point to one thing. You can check out a related screenshot below.Interestingly, recent PlayStation job postings have also hinted at development of a remake of The Last of Us, and PlayStation Studios animator Visual Arts recently talked about a massive unannounced project due out this year.Earlier this year, reports surfaced that development on The Last of Us remake was \"nearly complete\" and the game, as well as a separate multiplayer project The Last of Us, which Naughty Dog is currently working on, could even be released in the second half of 2022.
