Mushroom butts are the reason for a higher age rating for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Even though Tiny Tina's Wonderlands lacks the cleavage typical of the main Borderlands series, it still managed to get a \"T for Teen\" rating from the ESRB, the American Video Game Industry Regulatory Board.
Indeed, that rating is based in part on the presence of \"partial nudity\" in the fantasy co-op game, but this time mushrooms are the provocateur. This week at PAX East in Boston, developers Gearbox revealed that mushrooms' naked butts were flagged by the ESRB for the Wonderlands game.
\"Shroomie Butt is why we got partial nudity in our Teen rating,\" one member of the development team explained when someone in an anatomically accurate mushroom costume joined them on stage. It's true: In the abstract of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands game rating, the ESRB elegantly notes that \"several enemy creatures (e.g.
goblins, mushroom men, zombies) are depicted with naked buttocks.\" However, bare butts aren't the only things that caught the panel's attention: it also mentions \"realistic shooting,\" blood splatter effects, some obscene dialogue, and a mission in which you have to collect pet poop. However, it appears that the team was most pleased with the mushroom assholes - and who can blame them for that?
