New Dragon Age merch hints at Solas' redemption arc

Everyone seems to hate Solas.
And no one hates him more than those who love him.
Whether he's your enemy or your romantic partner, Solas' betrayal at the end of Dragon Age: Inquisition is pretty brutal.
It's not every day that someone snatches your arm and runs off to destroy the world. However, despite literally conspiring to destroy Tedas as we know him, it looks like he's not exactly a lost cause.
In the new Dragon Age merchandise, the elf is referred to as the \"redeemer.\" To be fair, he's also called a \"heretic, clan traitor, or destroyer\" there, but that suggests that Solas won't have to be our enemy in Dragon Age 4 unless we want him to be.
\"Heretic, traitor to the clans, destroyer or redeemer-whatever you call Solas, you can't deny his unyielding determination to restore the entire land of elves to its former glory,\" says the description for a new canvas engraving of Solas that just appeared in the BioWare store. As a companion to the Inquisitor, he would whisper words of wisdom and hug him affectionately (at least, the female version).
But times have changed, and as events have not unfolded as they should have, the humble elf has had to reveal himself as the elven god Fen'Harel, the Dread Wolf. This can be interpreted in many ways.
The simplest explanation is that he considers himself a redeemer and atones for the guilt of the world for the crimes committed against the elves.
However, given that he doesn't really want to atone for those who have wronged the elves, it doesn't seem that likely. The second theory has to do with the fact that \"redeemer\" is included in the list of names you can call him - heretic, traitor, etc., perhaps hinting that Solas will play a more complicated role in Dragon Age 4.
He's already heavily featured in promotional materials, but it looks like we won't have to fight him.
Hell, maybe the Inquisitor or a new protagonist will even join him? You'd have to be really bad to do that, though.
