Sony has revealed that it is going to add Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support to PS5 as soon as this week.VRR allows to get rid of various graphics problems and FPS drops.In the coming weeks, some PS5 games will receive a patch to add VRR support.We are talking about the following projects: Astro's Playroom Call of Duty: Vanguard Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Deathloop Destiny 2 Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition DIRT 5 Godfall Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Resident Evil Village Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Tribes of Midgard.If you want VRR function, you can try to apply it to the projects that initially do not support it - to possibly improve video quality.It can always be disabled in the settings.
