GRAID Technology has announced the SupremeRAID SR-1010, which it claims is \"the world's fastest NVMe and NVMeoF RAID card for PCIe Gen 4.\"The new SupremeRAID SR-1010, an evolution of PCIe 4.0 from the SupremeRAID SR-1000, upgrades the built-in RAID gas pedal GPU from the Nvidia T1000 (Turing) to the Nvidia RTX A2000 (Ampere) GPU.The advanced hardware uses PCIe 4.0 to achieve RAID speeds beyond anything you've seen before, with 110 Gbps sequential read and 22 Gbps sequential write performance.Read and write IOPS are set at 19M and 1.5M, respectively.Changes to the GPU and PCIe interface mean that the updated SupremeRAID SR-1010 delivers a 19% increase in read performance and an 83% increase in write performance over the replacement model. The GRAID SupremeRAID SR-1010 offers support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and RAID 10 with support for up to four groups and can manage up to 32 NVMe SSDs under Linux and Windows Server 2019 and 2022 (though performance there requires a big haircut).Availability is scheduled for May 1, but GRAID has not named a fixed price for its GPU-based RAID solution.
