The Witcher Season 3 is filming in the Epping Forest near London

The first week of filming for The Witcher Season 3 took place in three European countries: Italy, Slovenia and Croatia, before the team returned to the UK to continue work at Longcross Studios, where the new headquarters of the show is located.
As expected, not all filming takes place indoors and, if necessary, the crew gets out of the studio. We learned that last week filming of The Witcher took place in the forest of Epping, located north of London.
Since this place is sparsely populated and also at the time of filming it was closed to the public, we have almost no information about the events that took place there, or about the actors involved in the filming process.
However, there is a small leak consisting of several photos in which we see a camp set up in the woods.
The camp most likely belongs to the elves, although it is impossible to state anything definitively yet.It seems that at the moment directors Steven Surjik, who was present on the set in Europe, and Ganja Monteiro, who joined the team about a week ago, are working on their episodes.
As for the cast, Tom Canton (Philavandrel) and Mimi M.
Haisa (Fringilla) have confirmed their return to the set, and Liz Carr, who plays Fann, will join them next month.
Filming is proceeding on schedule and, barring unforeseen delays, will conclude in late August/early September.Filming near Stoberry Hill PondIt was later reported that the crew did not leave Epping Forest, but moved to nearby Stoberry Hill Pond.
There deployed more impressive scenery, including large tents, barrels, tables and roasters - all of which you can observe in the pictures below.+ 1 more pictureThe camp looks quite bizarre, and, according to one version, here may be filming the festival Bellethain, which in the beginning of season 3 will visit Geralt, Jennifer and Ciri.
This theory is supported by the fact that filming here will take place in the dark.
Work is scheduled to be completed by the end of this week.
