The Chivalry 2 roadmap for the year has been updated with one major change announced: The major update will now come out earlier than expected. It will come out in the second quarter of 2022, which is at some point before July, but there is no exact release date yet.As a result of this announcement, however, the update has switched places with the Reinforced update, which will come out in summer 2022.Torn Banner Studios unveiled the updated roadmap this week, along with an explanation of why the two updates have switched places. While the biggest update doesn't yet have an official name, the designation alone leaves plenty to look forward to.The updated roadmap below says that this release will include a console server browser feature and \"much, much more,\" but does not specify what exactly will be in this significant update. The developer also said that there are \"no significant delays\" as to when the next two big updates will be released. The total amount of features included in both updates also remains unchanged. The Reinforced update, which was previously listed on the roadmap as our next update, will now appear after the biggest update (name to be announced) due to the overall progress of our team's efforts.Work on these two updates has been going on simultaneously in our team for several months. Therefore, the order of release of the two updates has been changed, but the content and features that players will receive will remain the same. There is no significant calendar delay in when you can expect updates 2.5 (Q2 2022) and 2.6 (Summer 2022).The previous version of the roadmap, released on December 13, is still on the game's Trello board, so it looks like it has not been updated yet.It states that the Reinforced update will include crossplay, a console server browser, new weapons, and \"major quality-of-life improvements.\" However, the console server browser will now be included in the biggest update. The biggest update has no set release date yet, but expect it to be known soon after the roadmap update.
