FIFA 22 will soon get cross-play support

FIFA 22 will soon get cross-play support

EA Sports has officially announced its plans to test cross-play in FIFA 22 to connect players from different platforms. The information comes directly from EA's official website and Twitter, where the company has actually confirmed the first tests of the cross-play feature soon.
The FAQ definitively states that the tests will cover seasons and friendlies online on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and Stadia.
On the other hand, PS4 players will not participate in the initial tests, but should join after the release of the stable version. The decision to run a cross-play test only for these game modes was made to reduce the chances of encountering serious technical problems in the game.
EA will use all collected game data and user feedback to figure out how to improve functionality, and then proceed with global activation for an indefinite period of time.According to reports, the system will automatically add the ability to activate or deactivate cross-play for casual users on the platforms mentioned; just check the homepage in the lower right corner regularly and wait for the button that you can see in the image below.FIFA 22 is released today on PlayStation Plus.
