On Thursday, HBO revealed a rousing new \"House of the Dragon\" teaser trailer and nine posters featuring characters from the main characters in the \"Game of Thrones\" prequel.The new series, which will premiere August 21, takes place 200 years before the events of HBO's \"Game of Thrones.\" It tells the story of House Targaryen.
Like the main series, \"House of the Dragon\" has a large cast with a smaller set of major characters at the center of its story, including Paddy Considine (as King Viserys I), Emmy D'Arcy (as Princess Rhaenria, first child and his heir), Matt Smith (as Prince Damon, Viserys' younger brother), Rhys Ivans (as Ser Otto Hightower Hand of the King), Olivia Cooke (as Lady Alicent Hightower, Otto's daughter), Fabienne Frankel (as Ser Christon Cole, the knight watching over Rhaenria), Steve Toussaint (as Lord Corlis Velarion, also known as Sea Serpent), Eva Best (as Princess Rainis Velarion) and Sonoi Mizuno (as Misaria, Daemon Targaryen's maid of honor).
