
PlayStation Network is a group of Sony network services like matchmaking, achievements, voice chatting and other things.It's only available on PlayStation consoles (and partially in the browser) but judging by one of the vacancies, PSN is going to launch on PC as well.Sony is looking for an executive and product manager for PC games.He will do organizational work in the direction of PC games, and lead the development of tools PlayStation, including the production of SDK and \"client applications with integration of the PlayStation Network platform.\"It is emphasized that candidates should have an excellent understanding of the gaming industry, especially \"in terms of gaming needs and trends in the areas of PC, cross-play, cloud technology and mobile devices.\"Perhaps Sony wants to make its own longcher on PC or at least a PC-client through which to interact with PlayStation Network (say, write messages to friends).Microsoft already has one: Xbox networks are integrated into Windows and let you see your friends and their statuses (even if they play Xbox consoles) as well as connect with people in multiplatform matchmaking.If you are not interested in all these software quirks, you can look at it this way: Sony has taken over the PC market and continues to develop it, which means that they are going to release PC ports in the future.
