Nintendo published a report in which it again celebrated Switch records.This time, the games especially distinguished themselves: the total sales of all projects for the fiscal year were the highest in Nintendo's history.The report covers the period from April 2021 to March 2022.Highlights:Switch sales for the year were 23 million.Total sales for the entire time now exceed 107.65 million units.Compared to the previous year, Switch sales slipped 20%.Nintendo attributes this to disruptions in the supply of semiconductors and other components.This year, Switch sales are expected to be 21 million.Sales of all games (not just from Nintendo) totaled 235.07 million copies.This is an all-time record year for consoles from Nintendo.During that period, 39 games racked up over one million copies.Of these, 26 were Nintendo games and 13 were third-party titles.The report also includes an update on sales of recent Nintendo releases:Metroid Dread - 2.9 million.Kirby: The Forgotten Land - 2.65 million.Mario Party Superstars - 6.88 million.The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD - 3.91 million.Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl - 14.65 million.Pokémon Legends: Arceus - 12.64 million.Mario Golf: Super Rush - 2.35 million.WarioWare: Get it Together! - 1.27 million.Game Builder Garage - 1.06 million.Sales of some evergreen Nintendo exclusives last year:Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - 9.94 million (45.33 million total).Animal Crossing: New Horizons - 6.01 million (38.64 million total).The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - 4.28 million (26.55 million total).Pokémon Sword & Shield - 3.18 million (24.27 million total).Super Mario Odyssey - 2.67 million (23.5 million total).Finally, Nintendo again highlighted what major releases are expected on Switch in 2022:Mario Strikers Battle League - June 10.Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes - June 24.Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak - June 30.Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - July 29.Splatoon 3 - September 9.Pokémon Scarlet & Violet - late 2022.Bayonetta 3 - during 2022.
