Migrating from Bethesda Launcher to Steam is not going smoothly for everyone

Migrating from Bethesda Launcher to Steam is not going smoothly for everyone

The Bethesda Launcher program is closing on May 11, which means players need to migrate all the games they own on the platform to Steam.
However, it turns out that this process isn't going well for some players: they're getting error messages.Several users report that when they try to link accounts, they get an error message: \"Account linking error.
Try again or contact support for help.\" The response from Bethesda support suggests that the problem may be occurring when trying to link a Bethesda account to a Steam account to which a Bethesda account is already linked.According to FanByte, other users say that even though they have Deluxe Edition Rage 2, only the standard edition of the game appeared in their Steam library after the migration, and that Doom Eternal is being ported without DLC.
Bethesda Support states in both cases that installing the game on Steam should result in relevant DLC content, although this solution doesn't seem to work for everyone.
