According to a GfK report, Nintendo Switch Sports for Nintendo Switch was the UK retail leader in the last week. The project was the third biggest launch in the country compared to the franchise's other games - it was surpassed by Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.Sales of the latter two were nearly identical at launch, while the newcomer didn't even reach half the numbers of past games. True, Nintendo Switch Sports managed to beat sales of the previous installment in the WiiU series, Wii Sports Club.In 2014, it failed to even make it to the top sales in Britain.Moreover, Sports performed better than Mario Party Superstars, Ring Fit Adventure, and Just Dance 2022, the latter being almost eight times better. However, analysts note that the first week of sales is not very important for games of this type, as they achieve big records \"over the long haul.\" Sales of \"LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker.Saga\" at the same time dropped 25% compared to last week, and the project itself was in second place on the chart.As for Gran Turismo 7, its sales jumped 152% due to new deliveries on PS5 which helped the game to reach the third position. Horizon Forbidden West sales jumped 52% for the same reason - the sequel to Zero Dawn took the fourth place as a result.
