Square Enix could sell its studios because of loss-making Marvel games

MST Financial analyst David Gibson called Marvel games the reason why Square Enix decided to sell some of its studios and IP Embracer Group.Reportedly, in less than two years the Japanese company has lost $ 200 million - the reason were two loss-making Marvel projects.
As a result, among the studios that were sold were Crystal Dynamics and Eidos-Montreal - the authors of \"Avengers\" and \"Guardians of the Galaxy\".Gibson also suggested that Square Enix had difficulties in managing overseas projects.
That said, the company will continue to publish some of its other game series like Just Cause and Life is Strange.
