Gunzilla Games studio, where Neil Blomkamp (\"District No.9,\" \"Chappie\") works, has unveiled a teaser for its new AAA shooter Off the Grid. About its development was announced last year - it is a royal battle game with a third-person view, which is being created on the Unreal Engine 5, and the platforms are listed as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.The game is set in a dystopian future on a separate tropical island. In PvP-fights will involve up to 150 fighters, and still in the project will appear story PvE-missions, and their action will unfold on the same maps, where there are real-time and other players. It seems the users will be able to influence the development of history, and the decisions will affect the overall gameplay. Players will also be able to create, customize and trade items - this system is closely related to the narrative. Blomkamp is responsible for the overall creative vision of the project, while the scripting was handled by \"Carbon Vaporized\" author Richard K.Morgan.Meanwhile, Olivier Henriot, who previously worked on the Far Cry and Assassin's Creed series, became the chief narrative director. Blomkamp noted that the authors are not just trying to create a \"Battle Royale 2.0\" with a deep progression system, but also to present an evolving world that will change as the player returns to the project. Off the Grid is scheduled for release in 2023.
