Ubisoft's Skull and Bones could be released in fall 2022

A six-minute video of Ubisoft's pirated game Skull and Bones was leaked on Friday, indicating that the game may finally be out of development hell.
And now we have an even better indicator that Skull and Bones is closer to the horizon than you might think, as Kotaku reports that Ubisoft is targeting a fall 2022 release.
Specifically, reporter Ethan Gach has been told by sources at Ubisoft that the game could come out as early as September. The leaked footage is quite candid about the story, setting and gameplay of Skull and Bones.
Consider it a spoiler alert.Skull and Bones is set in the Indian Ocean during the Golden Age of Piracy.
Players begin as humble pirates sailing on a tiny boat, and the goal of the game is to build your ship, crew, and reputation.
You can earn \"shame\" points by completing tasks such as treasure hunting and, of course, robbing enemy ships to become the most famous pirate on the high seas.
The ship can be supplied with rations, water, repair kits and ammunition before sailing, but if you are let down, you will lose some of your precious Infamy and be revived elsewhere, leaving your downed ship to be looted. If you have followed the development of this game even slightly, you know that it has not been smooth.
Without going into too much detail, there were times when it was doubtful that the game would even come out.
Fortunately, things look a little different today, with some leaked footage showing significant progress and a new release window.
Ubisoft also announced in March that an insider program will allow select members to gain access to the game before launch, so be on the lookout in the coming weeks and months.
