Developers from WolfEye Studios continue to share with the public the first details about the upcoming major update Weird West, which will be available this week on May 6.This time they went a little further and attached a few videos to visualize the upcoming changes. In update 1.02 we will finally have the ability to stealthily kill a variety of NPCs with melee weapons, strange that it was not at the release. But if you are less of a bloodthirsty nature, with the release of the update blunt weapons (shovel, club), as well as kicks and punches will knock people out when their HP drops to 0, but not kill them. Also the creators have decided to completely redesign the targeting system, to make it easier for players to choose the exact location of the dynamite or other handy tools. The speed and arc of the projectile have also been changed to make it easier to throw at doors and windows. Now you can scrap all weapons at once through the new disassembly menu, or better yet...you can also scrap weapons that are in your companions' or horses' inventory! Other minor changes that will appear in Patch 1.02:Increased likelihood of side quests in small locations such as farms, estates, and haciendas.Silent Shot has become worth more Action Points when using a rifleThe Shotgun scatter and damage drop has been adjustedDisarming sleeping NPCs will not attract the attention of other NPCs, as they now see them as still...Asleep!Adjusted AI reaction time to make it a bit more responsive (further work on AI and stealth will appear in the next patch!)Removed the ability to switch to the previous weapon by pressing the weapon wheel key, in favor of making opening the weapon wheel more responsiveAdded autosave points in some travel locations that had a very long stretch without autosave, often leaving players with a lost large chunk of progress if they died in the middle of a location and did not think to do manual save
