Arma Reforger update fixes character animations in multiplayer

Arma Reforger update fixes character animations in multiplayer

The new Arma Reforger update was released today, bringing some welcome fixes to the military multiplayer game that should make online play smoother.
Literally: one of the problems players have had with the early access game is that the animations of other characters in multiplayer look like they blink and disappear, and today's update should fix that oddity. There are two specific changes aimed at fixing the fluidity of other player animations, but several changes made in this update should make Arma Reforger more stable online in general, which should also help with animations.
In this update, the animation data you see will come from the character owner, not the server.
Another separate fix has been made to \"improve character fluidity in multiplayer.
\"The patch also includes many additional fixes and improvements: the idle AI should now be able to better monitor the environment, and the explosive containers you encounter in Conflict game mode will actually contain explosives rather than \"normal items.\" A bug that caused cars to sink into the ground when hitting a gate grate has been fixed, and you will no longer be stuck next to the car you died in.Bohemia Interactive has also fixed a number of glitches, including one that could simply happen when equipping weapons.Workbench has a new status bar showing the current backend environment, and when importing a elevation map into the world editor, elevation oversampling is enabled by default. You can read the full patch notes here.
