Halo: The Master Chief Collection is about to introduce microtransactions

Halo: The Master Chief Collection developed on a season system and had a combat pass analog, but there were no microtransactions.
Looks like that's about to change: in a recent blog, 343 Industries talked about how they're going to introduce the ability to buy special \"Spartan points\" in MCC.Spartan points are renamed season points.
They are given for completing challenges and leveling up.
The points are spent to unlock customization items.
Over the years of MCC support, the number of \"cosmetics\" has exceeded 1,000.In the future, Spartan points will allow to purchase for real money.
As the developers emphasize, this is just an extra option for those who want to get some item, but do not have time (or desire) to grind.
Judging by the way the developers choose their words in the blog, donation can be canceled, but most likely it will appear.
More about how things work, we'll talk later.
Right now all combat passes are available in the MCC.
The catch: to access the next ten skip items, you must first randomly unlock the previous ten.
There is also a separate store with limited offerings.
It's similar to the store in games with a donation, but when it appeared in MCC, the donation wasn't there yet. There's some good news, too: 343 Industries confirms that MCC's development continues.
MCC will add \"bioroid\" armor kits from Halo 2: Anniversary and player poses for the end-of-match screen, and will offer a choice of background menu art.Support for modding on the PC is still expanding, and will be officially added to Halo: Reach, and later added to Halo 4 and Halo 2: Anniversary.
There will be a new Steam version called the Workshop, an updated career screen, and dynamic content loading for matchmaking.
Now you have to restart the game to have the multiplayer playlists updated in MCC.
With the new system matchmaking data is loaded automatically right from the game. All story campaigns will introduce special collectibles.Update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection is going to be released during the summer.
It looks like most of the listed features will be there.
\"Bioroid\" armor to be added to The Master Chief Collection.
