KotOR II for Switch impossible to pass because of a bug (but it's promised to be fixed soon)

A port of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords was released on Nintendo Switch on June 8.
It turns out there's a bug that makes it impossible to pass the game in a fair way.
But the developers are already working on a solution. At one point in the story, your character lands on the planet Onderon with the battle droid Basilisk.
After the cutscene, the Switch version simply crashes.
Judging by the comments, this episode can not be avoided by legal means, so KotOR II for Switch can not pass to the end.On Reddit came up with an alternative solution: call at a certain time menu cheats (on Switch it is enabled by triple-clicking on the left stick) and move to the location on the plot.
Port developers from Aspyr have confirmed that they are aware of the bug and are going to fix it in the next patch.
To find out when exactly the patch will be released, the company offers to sign up for a special page on the support site. For KotOR II on Switch will also release a free add-on with cut content - it starts in the third quarter.
There, however, is a catch: the saving \"vanilla\" version of the game is incompatible with the DLC, so in order to see the cut content, you will have to start passing the game again.
